The Sienna Forest

I painted this forest edge on the side of my house to capture that quiet moment where woodland softens into grass. Soft Sienna tones drift across the tree line while cool greens ground the foreground, my brushwork loose and impressionistic to emphasize the atmospheric mood rather than precise detail. I wanted to explore that liminal space between cultivated and wild—where nature transitions and invites you to pause. It's my thought on those in-between places that feel familiar. 11x14 canvas
