Night

I built this piece on cardboard, starting with a soft pink base that grounds the composition. Then I layered thick, luscious black paint across the surface—rich and gestural—with touches of blue mixed into the pigment for subtle depth. The black strokes concentrate in the center, radiating outward in bold brushmarks that pull your eye inward before expanding across the entire piece. The tension between the muted pink and dramatic dark tones creates something contemplative and contemporary, designed to anchor a modern space with understated visual presence. 30x23
