Fake Wheat Field
I created this abstract painting from the fields surrounding my town and wild growth that blur together in my memory. A vivid dream of an endless weatfield pushed me to explore these landscapes through abstraction, capturing their surreal quality rather than their literal appearance. The composition moves beyond representation, channeling the emotional weight of these natural spaces through layered forms and gestural marks. I wanted to evoke the movement of wind through crops, shifting light across open land, and that dreamlike quality of familiar landscapes seen anew. This piece invites you to experience the landscape not as it appears, but as it feels—mysterious, boundless, and touched by the subconscious. 10x10 gallery wrapped Canvas
