Dreamscape

I created this piece to capture the feeling of dreams and the subconscious through abstract expressionism. Working on unstretched canvas, I layered deep blues, grays, blacks, dark reds, and dark greens to build an atmospheric, introspective mood. The gestural marks and color relationships invite you to find your own meaning in the work—each viewing reveals something different.
