Color Fields

I created Color Fields as an exploration of bold, harmonious hues in watercolor and gouache.  jewel toned midnight blue draws you into depth and contemplation, while butter yellow radiates warmth and energy across the composition. Bubble gum pink dances in playfully, creating dynamic tension between soft and saturated tones. I wanted this piece to celebrate pure color relationships—allowing each hue its own space to breathe and live. The layered application of watercolor and gouache creates subtle shifts in transparency and texture, so the colors interact and transform depending on how light touches them.
